i dont have any of the smog/emission stuff on my 347, what all do i need to keep on the intake? i have a trick flow street heat intake and i am going to buy a 75mm throttle body, but do i need the egr delete plate or the egr spacer?
If you aren't going to be using an egr valve, then you can use the delete brackec. If you are going to use the egr valve, then obviously, you'll need the spacer.
On mine, when I deleted the egr spacer, and replaced it with a 3/8" thick Accufab spacer with the mounting tabs for the throttle/cruise cables, I had another issue to deal with. Moving the throttle body that much closer to the intake (about 1.5") resulted in the throttle body linkage interfering with the valve cover. I ended up having to place a spacer between the lower and upper intakes -- to move the upper/throttle body up to clear the valve cover. Explorer intake/FRPP 65mm throttle body on mine.
