EGR Elimination Question

I'm sure this issue has risen before, but I don't really feel like searching. I put a spacer in my trick flow intake, and the tube for the egr isn't long enough, so I cut it, and have been using silicone hose to seal it, but I'm getting tired of changing out the hose all the time because it burns through easy. Does anyone know where I can get a longer tube? or can I eliminate the whole setup, and how?
Thanks

If you have a tuning device you can eliminate it that way, but if not I elminated mine while on the the stock EEC.

Cap the header with a 5/8" NPT cap (I've heard that it might actually be metric and I'm not entirely sure on the size...it's been awhile).

Cap the intake with a plate. And then you have to do something with the green or red wire that goes to the EGR (it's been way too long). Someone else might chime in, but I bet you could find it in a search "Eliminate EGR ".

Good luck.
