My EGR is working fine and my check engine light is off. The last time I removed my intake I removed the pipe that attaches to the EGR. Ever since than the pipe has a split and a noticable exhaust leak. I can hear it driving. Can the pipe be removed without throwing engine codes. I dont have money for a tweecer. Engine is stock with all emissions equipment.

You could try to use some copper pipe. You dont want to run without that - it could lead to light-throttle pinging.

To run with no check engine light, i have the plug connected to the egr and a vacuum. The EGR just chills in the back of the engine compartment against the firewall until i get a Tweecer or QT Horse. Basically just plug it so it doesn't leak.

I have mine off had it tuned . I still have a hanging idle when I rev it up to say 4000 rpms, when it comes down it hangs at 2000 and drops to 1300 than to 1000. I also have it idling at 1000. Every thing else is right TPS @97 IAC is only 1/4 turn out. Could this be caused from that pipe being removed? I also have no check engine light on .
