EGR Silumators for our cars? Don't work?

Well i bought one off of ebay, took about a week to get. After I plugged it in i was hoping the CEL would stay off after I did my EGR delete a while back. Unfortunatly it does not work.

If there is a real brand that someone has and is working please let me know.

Just got this response,

Recheck it and make sure there isn't corrosion on the connector.
Honestly, we never had one not work, and only a couple people that had issues with it not working when it wasn't fully inserted. I will update the keywords to reflect 94 and 95.

i got one from fordfuelinjection that does not work. Must be 94/95's

just do what RIO did. i did it and it worked perfect with no check engine light. all you need is some hose, hose clamp and a wire nut.

I did the fox conversion with EGR delete plate I do not want that ugly thing in my engien bay.

I took the simulator out and pluged it back in, i think it was loose... it cam out very easy.

Hopefully it wont come on for the ride home.

i pulged in in deeper light is still on, going to run codes and try to clean up the original connecter, might have some corrosion on it. I was told that this should work.

Mabey i'll reset the battery again after i clean it up.

a wire nut is what they use for electrical connections.

thanks to RIO's method, this is what he did. grab some hose. i cut a piece of hose that was used from my deleted AIR. perfect fit. slide that over the sensor and push the wirenut into the hose so that the plunger on the sensor goes in the open end of the wirenut. use a hose clamp (i used one from the deleted AIR system again) to secure the wirenut in the hose.

thats it. works perfect.

So you push the plunger down half way right? Looks like this will be getting done this weekend.

So the bottom of the plunger actually rests on the body of the sensor?
