Eibach Pro-Dampers vs. Tokico HP Blues?

I've been looking to lower my car and add some handling. I've decided upon the eibach pro-kit springs for the moderate drop and ride quality, but can't decide on the shocks/struts. Are the Eibach Pro-Dampers or Tokico HP Blues a better match for the springs/which ones will perform & ride best? Are their any other non-adjustable shocks in this price range I might want to consider? I'm going to be doing mainly street driving, maybe an autox for fun once or twice in the summer. I'm not looking for race performance as much as just general handling.

I've seen those, but my question is how do they perform, and what is the ride like. The tokico springs are constant rate, right? I know that the pro-kit springs are progressive, usually don't progressive springs provide better handling and ride quality? What I'd really like to know is should I buy the Pro-system (pro-kit springs + dampers), or should I buy separately, and if I buy separately are the Tokico HP Blues a good shock/struts, how do they compare with the Eibach dampers, and are thier any others out there I should be looking at?
 
I have the eibach shocks and struts and they seem to be fine! A heck of a lot better than stock and the ride improved significantly. I bought them because they are tuned to match the pro kit springs. makes sense, right?

They may seems fine, but at high damper speeds they drop out a little.
You may not even feel it depending on how sensitive you are to the ride.
 
I went with illuminas, and even at the firmist setting, the ride is smooth. I almost wish I got strange 10 ways, but these definately are nice, and you can actually tell a difference between the settings. more $ than the blues, but I had them on a t bird, and wanted something better for the cobra. I like these better, but the setup is completely different betwen the two cars
 
I have the Prokit and the Tokico HPs. I love the ride, very smooth but firm when it needs to be. Rides better than stock in my opinion. Handles great too.
The part numbers I got were HB3026 (fox struts) and HE3723. These are the part numbers MM and Stang suspension recomend on lowered cars.

you can disagree all you want. Fact is, the Eibach's are junk. They are made in Mexico and have very poor quality control.

Now, I realize that when you say you disagree, you're speaking from fact and have data to back up your statement, right?

For those who have no clue what they're looking at, in the suspension industry this is called a football curve. It displays the general characteristics of a damper (strut/shock). On the left where the lins cross over each other is a bad thing called lag.

As the damper speeda up, the force should go up also. What cheap and poorly designed dampers like this do (due to poor oil-gas-volume ratios) is show signs of a delay (lag) before building force. What this means is that when you start to drive it hard or fast, the damper will be unpredictable and "loose" feeling like it's blown or not working properly.

So why do you say you disagree? Let's hear your facts
 
Has anyone just replaced their struts/shocks and kept their stock springs? Was their any differance in handling or any improvement. I don't think the gap looks that bad on my car, but I would definitely like to improve the ride quality (less body roll and wandering around).
 
Changing the dampers with the stock springs can tighten it up, but you have to be sure the dampers are designed for the ride height you're at (stock springs) rather than a lower height.

It will help some, but the lower CG from the springs helps quite a bit too.
