Eibach Pro Kit Springs or Sportline Springs??

I recently bought an 03 Mustang GT. I am getting 18x10 Bullitt wheels on the back with 18x9 on the front. The tires I'm looking at are 295 35 18's on the back with 275 35 18's on the front. I would like to lower the car as much as possible and I'm debating the pro kit or the sportline springs.

Do the sportline springs sacrifice ride comfort too much? I'm not even sure if they will cause any rubbing either but I don't think so.
Anyone have any comments or advice?

I love the stiffness of the sportlines, but they are very stiff and alot of people don't like sacrificing ride quality, you can combo it with some adjustable struts/shocks for smoothen up the ride.

Well I can't speak for sportlines but the Pro kit really doesn't sacrifice comfort(much) you will notice a stiffer ride but not bad.

me likey the sportlines. look great and the ride isnt too bad. had to get an alignment tho. only 39 bux but the springs are great.

From your post it's hard to say. Which is more important to you a decent / stockish ride or a low car. The sportlines sit it down nice and low but they also ride stiffer. The pro's still leave a gap and ride is basically like stock.
Other things to consider once you go more than 1 1/2 drop, CC's are less an option more a requirement. Getting an alignment with sportlines can be hard (the cars don't drive on most racks). Shocks and Struts will wear super fast unless you go with some real good aftermarket ones.
IMO go out in your area and see if you can find some people with the ride heights you want and ask for a ride. You know see if you like the ride and the height.

My Pro-kit springs have a nice ride quality to them. A little stiffer than the stock ride. I like them. The drop is just right IMO.

i have H&R Super Sport springs and they have comparible drop rates as the Sportlines, and the ride quality is pretty bad. My shocks/struts help out though, but definitely notice a difference in ride quality.

Sportlines. Yeah stiffer ride, but a small price to pay for the perfect drop.

If you ever plan on getting long tubes the pro-kit is as low as i would go.

Based on the rim/tire size combo you're referring to, it'd be awful hard for me to steer you towards the Sportlines. I'm afraid you'll have clearance issues. Screw the ProKit too; go w/ the H&R Sport Springs. They are a similar drop to the ProKit & IMO the best brand of spring on the market. Disclaimer*...I am not a salesman, just a really satisfied customer, though mine are the SuperSports.

I love my prokit and don't think I can go lower unless I made modifications to my driveway lol.

Also far as the long tubes go, if you have an X pipe forget about them. It'll drop it lower (from what I hear)

If I misunderstood you, please correct me but if not, an X pipe does not make Long Tubes hang lower. I have both on my car w/ the Springs in my sig. I will not deny the fact that I do occasionally scrape oversized speed bumps on my Headers though. However, if I am in the car alone, that never happens. It's only when there's 2 people in the car that it occurs.

i don't think mine is bad. Infact, i think its better ride quality then that of OEM pring personaly. OEM used to jitter my car when i went over road joint. now its much more managed.

BUT be forworned!! when u get Sportline, u'll have to re-learn how to drive your car again. what was once no bigdeal bump on road now can scrape many things with sportline. Infact, my car sits too low, that i can't find shop to do an aligment now...i might have to change my spring to something with less drop like C-spring or something...

Am I the only person that doesnt scrape with Sportlines....I guess the 96-98 cars must have more clearence with the Sportlines.
