I am redoing the K member (89 Mustang Lx 5.0) and have an chance to upgrade the springs. I have been calling the local shops and they all say eibach. This car is going to be a daily driver so I don't want the ride to be rough. Not too concerned about cornering. The price difference is about $50. I also was told that the Ford springs give you better weight transfer at launch.

Every lowering spring is going to be rougher than stock. But Eibach isn't too bad. I have them on my car and love the way it looks

Eibachs (depending on the model) will give you a lower stance.

I have Pro-Kits on mine.

If you are really concerned about ride quality, I highly suggest putting some $$$ into quality dampers. At the very least, find yourself some Tokico non-adjustable struts & shocks. If you have a little extra in the next paycheck, go for the Tokico Ilumina adjustables, Koni Reds, or Bilstein non-adjustables.
