Sorry im sure this topic is beat like a dead rat, but i found these springs for cheap and i want to lower my stang but I'm worried about clearance i have the 17' but want the 18'. Its a F 1.6", R 2" drop so how will the ride quality be and any pictures?????? please need responses soon i want them!!!!!

As long as the 18" tire height is near the same as the 17" tire, you'll be fine! We put those springs on a buddy's car with the 17" wheels. He didn't have it long enough to find out what size tires he could've put on it. It sure sits really low in the back!







For comparison (full size file): Stang in back has stock suspension with different size tires (can't recall the sizes)

Clearance is not an issue as long as the wheels you use have the proper offset and backspacing. You can go to 18's and use the factory Mustang tire size 235/50/18, you can even increase the rear size to a 255/45/18 without any problems again making sire the wheels have the proper measurements.

these are better for a visual mod, not so good if your looking for performance out of it. *so i hear*

Speed bumps are now going to be your worst fear. I have the Pro Line and I 've scraped my exaust just infront the rear end a couple. I would get shocks and strut too or it 's going to be a bit bouncy. These cars look 100% better lowered. Gives it that Pro Stock appeal. Get an adjustable panhard rod. You might need new caster camber plates to get the front alignment right.
