Eibachs or Steeda Springs?

Just wanted your opinion guys....I'm planning to run 275/40YR17 GoodYear Eagle F1 GS-D3s on my 17" wheels. I'm not sure whether I should get Eibach's Pro Kit springs (1.5" drop) as in they might be too much of a drop and I don't want to scrape anything.....or the Steeda Superlite Springs (1" drop) but I'm thinking it might not look like much.

Also will a front and rear swaybar setup with bilstein schocks/struts be a god complement for either of the springs I get?

who told you steeda superlites were 1" drop? mine dropped 1.5" atleast. The ride quality is great. I also have the F1's 255/18 front and 285/18 rear. No rubbing in front. A little in the rear on the exhaust. But only on hard bumps. Nothing some dumps couldn't take care of.

I've got the Eibach pros on mine and it droped it a little over 1.5" all the way around. I still have factory 17" wheels and factory tires with no rubbing. I've been looking into new shocks and struts as well and from what I've been seeing a lot of people go with the Eibachs and Bilsteins for set-up. Even though it's not needed for the Pro-kit, you could always get some new C/C plates while you're at it. Mine was able to be re-aligned within factory spec, but just barely. I'll probably need the C/C plates when I get the Bilsteins (shorter than stock) put on. Good luck :nice:

I'm running GS D3's on 17" cobra rims and Eibach Pro-Kit springs, everything good hear! I'm going coil over soon with Bilsteins (MM Sport valved), but the Pro-Kit springs are pretty good on my Tokico HP's. Maybe not quite stiff enough for my taste, didn't do much to help brake dive, but did reduce some body roll in turns (from the lower CG).

Really you got a 1.5" drop from the Superlites? Steeda says those springs are the same as there competition ones but weigh less and the competition ones drop it 1".

ive got steeda sport springs on mine and my buddy has the eibachs, ive driven both the eibachs lower it a bit more, but scrape over everything, plus have a harsher ride. the steeda springs lower it about 1.25-1.5 after it settles and look good, and ride better than stock. a buddy that just bought an 03 vert put the steeda sport springs on as well and loves them. i dont scrape on speedbumps like the eibachs do

Yes it was a good 1.5" drop....look at my pics in my sig, you can see its low. The ride quality is great though. Took me alittle to get used to but i don't scrape as much now. I can go over speed bumps etc, just have to be careful. And all my Steeda suspension products were quality.

What other suspension components do you have complementing your steeda springs?
