Elbow for a typhoon intake

I say its a n00b question but I got a typhoon intake a few months back and going to install it soon. Will any elbow work or do I need to get a PP one?

You can use any elbow you want. Some have bigger bores than the others, but I'm not sure which ones.

trick flow's is 75mm, while pp and edelbrock are 70mm.

the typhoon is a 70mm intake??? wow i didn't know that i was interested in this intake it has the larger fuel rails and everything but i dont think you could really bore that little 90* elbow to make it match 75mm ...thanks for the heads up

I have an Edel elbow

I would tell you to stay away from this elbow

Its not so much about the size of this elbow which is 70mm btw ....
but
It is made in such a way that it just doesn't flow air all that well

After looking at the various elbows ... I am getting a TFS and
would advise you to do the same

i have the edelbrock on mine, and truthfully it didnt take much work at all to port match the elbow to the 75mm t/b. all in all though any elbow will work just fine.

For a 50$ difference in price, the Proffesional Products unit works great! I ran it on my car before the blower and it lined right up with my Edelbrock Performer and it lined up with the throttle body nicely. No port matching required. You can get them on Ebay from CFM Performance for 50 or 59 bucks.

Yes but isn't the consensus that it aint worth it cause it dont flow no better?
