electirc fan question

how much hp do you pick up with an electric fan and three core radiator? what is the best fan for the buck?...if i want my car to go 13's N/A and sub 13.5 with a 75 shot, is this kind of cooling neccessary?

An electic fan draws about 1/2 HP from the electrical system. You would need a 3G alternator or better to insure reliable performance.

The stock fan draws 5-8 HP depending on who you talk to.

ramchargers makes a nice fan for around 130ish. Its dual 11" fans and come with a factory style harness. It will be more than adequate for what you have planned
