I've been reading up on all the possibilities for an electric fan set-up.

My fan clutch is shot.
So I figured I might as well go for an elecric fan.

Is the Taurus fan or Mk VIII fan good for a high power fox...talking about 300-400 rwhp?

What's the best way to go?
It seems that most people that were going this route had a pretty much stock stang.
Plus mine will be blown..which will add heat issues.
Thanks
Patrick

I use the black tragic flex a lite and have had no problems. My temp guage never gets past 170*. Of course im n/a. Be Cool makes a real neet aluminum radiator/dual fan set up that looks extremely clean. If I did it again I would get that one.

Really?

To be honest, I've heard nothing but negative remarks about the black mag. fan.

Where can I get the sn95 fan?
Couldn't find any on ebay...and JY is out of the question since I'm stationed in Germany now.

I would check into the blower to be used for space concerns. Something like dual Spals might work well if clearance is going to be an issue.

There are blower guys with Mark 8's (the biggest fan out there, sans perhaps a Viper fan IMHO) but clearance can be real tight (and offset positioning is important).

Good luck.

I have the cobra HD alum. ford racing radiator with an aluminum weiand water pump and a ford taurus fan (yes only one fan) to cool my build 466, i think it will handle your combo with ease. The stock fans are actually better output than the "aftermarket ones" so you can spend like $150 or more on a nice summit racing fan or go to the junkyard and spend $20 on a good taurus fan that will probably last for a good long time, make sure you test it before you leave the junkyard though. O, and the wiring involves two wires if you want to switch it on/off manually like i do. But....since you can't fo to the junkyard, i suggest you find a nice, cheap good flowing elec. fan from summit, puller fans are always better too.
