electric supercharger? worth it or no?

does anyone have or know anything about an electric supercharger? i read a little about it and it goes into the air intake or something but is it worth the $180??? It says it increases hp by 80 but what is a good mod i can get between $150 and $300? You guys know more about this stuff than i do so i would greatly appreciate it if someone would let me know what they think i should do. ive got a bbk cold air intake and flowmaster 40s and thats it. Simple answer: No

Do you have a standard? An aftermarket shifter would likely be in that price range. You could also get an off-road midpipe to help with sound.

I have some kind of shifter on there right now but not sure what kind. and i am wanting to get a bbk x pipe when i get bbk headers. so im not real sure if i should save to get those or get something else im really not sure.
