Electric Vacume Pumps for crankcase Evac

Hey that vacume pump that Ford Racing sells looks like a factory part (not surprising a lot of their stuff is), does anyone know what that is off of?

makes it easyer to find in the junkyard if you know what to look for.

also, any one using that ford pump? What sort of bracketry is need to bolt it up (stock stuff or junkyard avalible stuff hopefully)?

I have heard about a ford factory smog pump that was used on a cobra. But I am not sure what years.

I did find a smog pump, with an inlet and outlet fitting, on a late 80s early 90s van this weekend. The van had a straight 6. I have not done a test fit yet, so I am not sure how well it will bolt up to the factory brackets.

Another thing I found was that the 5.0 smog pump has a smaller pulley than the pulley on the van.

I will keep you guys posted, but it may be next weekend before I have a chance to look at it again.
