Do a search, using keywords "electric", "water", and "pump".
You'll see that the most frequently used brand is Meziere.
So far, I've been running mine for 4 months, with no problems.
Is it worth it? I think so, because it has the same output, no matter the rpm. A belt-driven water pump, on the other hand, has too low an output at low rpm, and too high an output at high rpm. Also, it frees up a little bit of horsepower (5? 10?).
from everything i have read there is about only 1 hp difference between under drive pulleys and electric water pump. the thing is though you get full flow with the electric pump same can't be said for the UD pulleys.
electric water pumps are nice.. one great thing about them is you can set up a switch so you can turn the pump on for a few minutes in the pits between runs. just make sure you have a good strong battery
Well, im sure anything is possable....but from the looks of it I would say no. And the impellers on WP look to also act like a mini fan and keep the WP cool. Ill have to check their direction though.
Ill say this....id pay $45 for a belt (and I did) before I would attempt to make the UD pully work on it haha. And coming from me, (el cheapo..."greedy Cody" ect) that means its pretty much more trouble than its worth lol. JMO though.
