Emblem help

repainting my car i took the emblems off. I was going to go with Cobra emblems but as i got them in the mail i noticed they didn't have the studs on the back an i didn't want to have to cover the holes up with bondo or something like that.

So my question is where can i get the GT high performance emblems with the studs on the back. Also what to do about the truck emblem, it said ford, also it had a little guide stud on the back . I can't find these emblems. I looked on American Muscle but they old had the 5.0 or the 4.6 ones an i want the GT ones that have the studs.

Holes in the fender? Can't you just go over the hole with the new emblem regardless of the stud? Where did you get them? I got mine from ford and they got them... well let me go check, there still in the glovie.

Sorry in my 94 GT when i took the emblem off their was 2 holes, 1 circle about half the size of a dime around, the other is just a small guide hole.

I got the cobra ones from American Muscle an if i were to put them on it would only cover one of the holes, an the ones i got from Ford Garage was the same, no guide holes.

But i am sure if i found the GT ones i am looking for that came stock on my car they would have the guides on the back.

And i can't find one for the back with the little guide on it.

I believe ALL 94-98 OEM fenders have the guide holes irregardless of GT or Cobra. I have a Cobra emblem that has the guide holes on it, and one (for the other side) that does not. I'm willing to bet there is a way to align up the Cobra emblems you have that will cover both guide holes.

I was thinking about that, but then the only way to do that where i imagine it would work, would be to have the bottom of the snake over the holes, the only thing is, i don't think it is wide enough. Because the GT emblem is wide an short, an the Snake is long an skinny.

It would be neat to have the snakes, but i would like to have the normal GT emblems with the guides.

The second set i ordered i went straight throw a Ford Dealer, cost 29.95 each an they didn't have the guides, actually the same ****ing ones that i got from American Muscle for the set for under 20.

OK, here are the emblems I have. One has thew alignment pegs, one does not. The pegs are at the head of the snake, not the base. Plenty of room there.

Where did you get those, i can't fine them anywhere. Those are the kind i want

Will those fit my 94 GT holes.

I got them years ago off eBay with several other items. You may want to search around there and see what you can find.

is the car already painted? i noticed u said u didnt want to cover them up, but i had my welded and shaved. when i had my fenders done like that, i took 05+ GT emblems and shaved the posts off
