Emissions: 331 etc.

Hi all....I'm new to these Forums and fairly new to Mustangs. Right now I have an '89 Coupe that is bone stock except for full exhaust and a K&N. With 156K on the clock, it's a little tired right now and I plan on doing a build on the engine.
Living near Seattle we love our smog tests :nonono: I was wondering if anyone would know if the combo I plan on putting together will pass the sniff or maybe some pointers on passing the test when it does come around.
Here's the combo I hope will pass: 331 9.5:1, AFR185 61cc, RPM II, Comp XE266HR - 216/[email protected] .544/.555 112*, 70TB, 75maf, 30lb, adj reg, 190lph, BBK 1-3/4 LT's w/ short cat-X.?? Would this set-up pass?? How bout a 347??
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Its possible, sounds like a great combo. Keep the smog euqipment hooked up, and use cats on your x-pipe and its possible. If the tune is perfect, and not running rich, you shouldnt have a problem.

Thanks gyrene.
I read some prior posts tryin to find similar posts/replys, but nuttin related appeared on the search. I hope to make sure the b*tch will blow-thru 'fore even shelling out the dough on parts if the car won't pass. I'd be safer just goin w/ a 306 'E' cam'd AFR165'd 24lb motor which is sure to pass.
Thanks again.
