I just failed my 3rd inspection in the past 3 months today, the numbers got better the second time but then got way worse this time. I'm only missing on the HC, 1.02 1st time, .99 2nd and 1.77 this time. Any ideas why?

I've done new plugs and O2 sensors after the 1st, fuel filter and pump after the 2nd and ran through a tank with "gaurunteed to pass"

have checked for any computer codes?
you can getthe code reader from walmart for $30 or so.

also get some carb cleaner/ decarbonizer and clean the egr valve and inside throttle body and the take off and clean the solenoid on the throttle body.......and then with electronic cleaner clean your mass air sensor

O2's could be at fault too - you seem to be running rich.

Good luck.
