Emissions Testing

I posted this over in the mid-west section but no replies so thought I'd try here.

I will be moving to Bloomington, IL from SC and I would just like to know if IL does emissions testing. After doing some research online I got mixed results. My mustang and truck are coming with me and I don't think my stang would pass testing with the full MAC o/r exhaust.

Also if anyone is from that area hit me up because I will need some friends lol.

according to this site, the entire state does not.

I have never lived in a smog checking state but I couldn't imagine them making me drive hours to a testing site. That would defeat the purpose?

If they're like Ohio used to be it was only in the counties that were deemed violators of the Clean Air Act. So while my county had emissions testing the next county over did not. If possible call the DMV in the county or city you are moving too.
