Last night I needed to drain my gas tank. My drain plug after 38 years was seized...go figure. I only had about 12 gallons of gas in the tank. So, I got out my MAPP gas torch and applied heat to the drain plug.

HAHA...just kidding.

I put some kind of socket on it and it literally just rounded off the entire plug. I pulled out my trusty 3/8" rubber fuel line to begin siphoning. After about 2 pints of gas siphoned...with my mnouth, I realized that 12 gallons was going to be too much.

Solution: I took my sand blaster, hooked up the rubber hose to it...fed it into the gas tank, hoooked the air compressor up....and viola....out comes gas into a 5 gallon bucket. I sprayed it for about 30 seconds...then released the trigger and gas came gushing out by itself.

So, now I have 11 gallons of gas in my lawn mowers, and empty gas cans I had laying around.

Just felt like sharing....

Of course, after all this and smelling gas for 30 min, I went inside and passed out. (again...joking)
