Howdy all.
I recently picked up the front sway bar bushing kit from LMR and it included two (what appear to be) factory length end links.
I saw somewhere in my online travels someone (infamous project on YouTube I believe) recommended shorter front end links for lowered foxbodues, so I picked up a set only to realize I did next to no research before pulling the trigger. Do these look like I’m about to put my front suspension further out of whack?

Also, am I crazy for thinking any time you work on the sway bar or end links you ideally have the suspension loaded. I built these cribbing blocks to accomplish that while letting me work under the car, but I’m not second guessing myself (it’s been about 25 years since I pulled the front sway off a fox, so I figured better ask than end up pinned under the car)

I use the MM endlinks for my lowered fox and they are shorter than stock. No issues that i'm aware of.

I had to shorten the end links on mine as I have it sitting pretty low with the MM suspension. What was told to me was with the car at ride height and on level ground the sway bar ends should be parallel to the ground. I want to say I took out an inch of the spacer tube and got new grade 8 bolts from Lowe’s or Home Depot.

When I was done the bushings compressed evenly all the way around which made sense with the ends of the sway bar parallel to the ground.

If you have not I would highly suggest you replace the sway bar frame mount bushings and go to urethane there as well. Will require maintenance as the grease does eventually need to be reapplied.

I have new sway bar mounting hardware and bushings as well but that’s great advice for the next guy to see this.

I’m also fighting the urge to replace the k member while I’m down there. But, baby steps.

I recently replaced my sway bar links too with the shorter ones from MM, AreoCoupe had also told me the same to make sure the sway bar was parallel once once the car was one the floor. It seems that Saleen didn't change these as they had the aqua rubber ones and not urethane. BTW - MM says to tighten them just enough that the washers turn just barely vs torque wrench x amount a pounds.

Those old ones you have there look identical to what I pulled out of mine. Nothing like 49 year old rubber
