Well today my auto in my 96 mustang did a real bad gear change, like it lost all power between first and second then all of a sudden found second with a bang. Now when the auto shifts into 3rd at 60ks it makes a continues funny noise the whole time in 3rd.
I know I can get a 2000gt engine with a t45 gearbox for the same price as a rebuild of the auto.
My question is will the new combo work in my 96?. Will I need to change the ecu as it doesn't come with one. I do have a sct tuner,could I use this to change the current ecu.
