Anyone have any information on a good book or video on how to assemble a EFI 302 (SBF). I looked on Amazon but most of the books have mixed or horrible reviews. I need something that is fairly detailed because I need to assemble my engine and I think it is something that I may be able to handle.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I am looking for books myself, but the first thing that you want to do is get a Chilton manual. Damn near all of the torque specs are listed and there is a wealth of good overall basic information. You may also want to check out 5.0 resto.

Already have a Chiltons manual and a 5.0 resto catalog. I am looking for bottom end assembly literature specifically about EFI SBF with pictures and step by step instructions (or something to that effect).
I am hoping someone has a book or video that they have used and would recommend.

I saw a video on assembly a couple of years ago on Ebay, but I can't seem to find it now.

Thanks

Maybe grab a shop manual from Helm Inc.

www.HelmInc.com

"and complete engine and transmission rebuilding."

Or look for one on ebay.

i done a some research on books and dvd builds. i'm not sure if it makes that big of a diff on efi vs carb, seeing out its just the top end that's a lil diff. some good readings i found were "Engine Builder's Handbook - Monroe", "How to Rebuild Small Block Ford Engines - Monroe", There's also a dvd sold on ebay I bought which I thought was very informational since I never built a engine before. Here's the link
