I just replaced the main engine harness on my 90 lx and noticed a couple of connectors on the drivers side near the battery tray that had nothing plugged into them. Anyone have a diagram showing what the connectors are for or where they go for the harness that comes through the firewall on the drivers side.........

Connector 31 is on the driverside of the engine bay.
Connector 39 is not in the Engine Bay, its by the ECM( just a FYI)
Connector 40 is the O2 harness connector, its on the passenger side by the Mass Air sensor.

May or may not help.

Cant seem to get the pics to load. Ill try again later. If it helps anyone the connector has two wires going to it. It is directly below the washer fluid resevoir mounted to the base of the strut tower. I dont think it connects to the main harness, it looks like it branches off of the harness that comes through the firewall on the drivers side

The AC clutch connector comes off of the main harness, right? Cuz this one is coming off the harness that comes through the firewall on the drivers side, and it is mounted all the way at the bottom of the strut tower. I think that the circle i put on the picture made it a little confusing cuz it has that connector circled but it was more to show the general location of the connector, which is behind that mess of wires, hard to see from that angle. If it helps the connector has 2 wires running to it

When I checked mine the only connecter in that area that was round with two wires going to it was the one for the A/C clutch.

hmm, I guess Ill have to double check the connectors. Since I dont have A/C that connector would not be hooked up, right? Also, I thought that connector came off of the main harness that hooks up to the computer.........I tried to start it yesterday and the fuel pump is not getting power, so im gonna have to do some tracing to find out whats going on. I also have a couple of other connectors that I noticed were not plugged in, Ill have to take some new pictures, hopefully a little bit better than the last. Thanks for the help so far, I can see that this project is far from over.

I know this thread is really old but does anyone know where I can get the connector from the main harness to the ac clutch?

My local scrap yards don't have any and it seems everyone i know has removed the ac and thrown it out.

Please post the wire colors with the solid color and stripe color. They help identify the circuit and its function. Do not depend on a photograph to do the job, since the camera and the device the photo is viewed on can alter the color presentation. Clean the wires with some solvent before trying to identify them.
