Engine Bay worries??

Hi again folks. Here is a picture of the engine bay of a 66 I am looking at in the UK. Any thoughts as to why the passenger side circled area black metal is so rippled/rough looking and also why the whole area of black metal is wider than the opposite side? overall this car is in great shape (even with the air con missing from the engine) but this looks a bit suspect - should I be concerned? Thank you for any thoughts

This is a pretty weak area and bends very easily ,especially if the fenders have been off . The driver side is different from the passenger side because of the battery setting somewhat inside ,the rippling is simply a result of the complex stamping
