Hopefully someone can give me some good insight into my issue that I have been having pretty much since I got my Mustang. Just have gotten frustrated enough to start asking around.
I have a 2007 GT 5 speed and the only mod I have is a K&N cold air. If I am at a dead stop and then hard accelerate, it seems like my engine gets really bogged down, like there is a lack of torque, until it reaches 2k RPM. It almost feels like something is holding it back or like turbo lag. Could this be an engine management problem that a good tune could resolve or sound like something else?
Now I have read numerous forums about throttle lag, which this maybe the same that others refer to as lag, but I wouldn't describe it as lag really. You can tell the engine is trying to do something because the tone of the exhaust changes.
Any ideas would be appreciated, thx
