Engine clean-up

I getting ready to put a stroker in my 90gt and I was wondering what are some of the little things that you all did to clean yours up to make it not look so cluttered. Also how important is it to keep the salt and pepper shaker recall add ons. There are just so many wires in this bay and I want it to look a little cleaner.

search wire hiding. Im sure someone has posted about it.

Its pretty involved and you will need to extend alot of wires. But IMO its worth it.

The engine bay on that website is very clean but that was helluva lot of smalls holes to fill and I couldnt tell where he ran the wireharness through the firewall. Where is that port at in the pics?

It's not that bad actually. Mine was the 2nd site listed.

I cut out a few "filler" plates from thin gauge steel, then welded around the perimeter to fill the larger (1/4"+) holes. For the smaller ones, I just welded around the holes to close it up a little, then kept going until completely done. For the open rectangle shaped frame channels, that was all flattened out by welding rectangle shaped pieces of steel to where the battery sits and across to the other side.

The wiring was run under the firewall lip in the middle (main harness) and underneath the fenders in the fenderwells (the other harnesses).

It was winter, I had all the time in the world!

(It wasn't really that bad, but I wouldn't prefer to do it again - especially the body work)
