As usual Mike, I'm sitting here going

I cannot WAIT to see your new wheels installed. I think that was the only comment I had on your build was that I wasn't a huge fan of the Pony wheels on your car.

Keep it coming man... Oh... and I'm mentally noting all this eye candy. Just be prepared for me to show up on your door step one day with a car and some paint. LOL

Thanks Noobz, I am anxious to see the wheels as well. I've decided to try an experiment w/ my wife and see if she actually notices the difference after I put them on the car. I've already bought the "Chrome in a can" spray bomb so I can credit the all of the sudden shiny-ness to a $4.99 can of paint.

Thanks again, Mr. "soon to be Sushi at the hands of an turbo impeller that could leave it's housing for no apparent reason, at any time, but because it's in my car , actually in my car, I now have a new respect for the term "Watch your back"".

(I'm just funnin' ya, thanks for the kind words, You can obviously ALWAYS count on me for the same)

yeah, it would probably be best to only drive my car while wearing a flack jacket lol. I still think I have more to fear from my parts house clutch exploding on a launch than the turbo coming apart. I still want to make a road trip to see your car someday too.

Well let's see. My "planned" events are the Birmingham world of wheels, ( early feb) and Mustang week
(Myrtle Beach 18-23 July). There's gotta be an ATL thing in between somewhere. Maybe we can meet up this summer.

Mine will probably still be up on jack stands for both of those dates lol. Not that mine will ever be in a show but, I will see what I can do about making it to a show.

Mike, I just saw the pics of your engine and bay painted. If you told me ahead of time you were going to paint your engine red I would have screamed in agonizing objection! However, in typical Mad Mike fashion, you have again taken something that sounds hideous and pulled it off spectacularly. Bravo, sir. It looks really good. Never seen a red engine in a ford that I like before...

Thanks Allen,
Ya know, there is actually an engine paint color called Ford red. (this ain't it but, just sayin')

Most of the stuff I come up w/ ( on paper) is unpopular. I.e. when I tell somebody to this day that I have a 89 car w/ 68 stuff grafted on, I always get the same "yeah right" glazed look back from the listener. It always takes somebody actually looking at the finished product before I'll get a positive reaction (at least from the 5% that actually pay attention to what I do on here)
