Does anyone know if an engine crossmember is used on a 1964 - 1966 Mustang with a 6-cylinder motor? I'm speaking of the large bar that runs under the oil pan and connects near each motor mount. My 66 convertible with a 200ci 6 does not have one. I have seen other 6's at car shows that do have them, but I have also heard from other owners who do not have them. Which is correct?
Wondering if not having this crossmember is asking for trouble. I'm sure it would be better to put one in, but it has proven a challenging part to find.
