I started my car today and let it warm up before i went to school, i rev my engine a bit to around 2000 rpms and i hear a knocking sound. it stopped once the engine warmed up, anyone have a similar problem? Also, i hear a whislting sound when i reved my engine it comes from the stick area, but when pressed down on the clutch pedal the whistling died down. anyone have or hear about that before?

Knocking could be piston slap.. maybe due to the forged pistons and cast block.. the two metals expand at different rates, thats why it stops when it warms up.
