engine light 97 V6

I'V had this Mustang for seven years and it has 150,000. miles the heads have been replaced about two years ago and some others parts, the engine light keeps coming on I took it to the shop and they cant find the problem he said it is running to lean what should I do it has new plugs when they replaced the heads the fuel pump has been replaced as well, any ideas i.e.
type of plugs and wire i should replace it with.

P.s. I just bought a 2003 mustang V6 and loving it.

Changing the spark plugs won't help a Check Engine Light. Do you know what code is coming up from the computer? If it is saying the engine is running too lean, it might mean an O2 sensor is in need of replacement.
There might have been a momentary trouble code that corrected itself, but now the code is stored. Disconnect the battery for five minutes to clear any trouble codes, and then see if any new codes are logged. At least that will tell you if you still have a problem.

And please put some periods between your sentances!
