Photo of my engine attached. 'Make over' is complete. Engine and harmonic balancer were cleaned and repainted, timing chain cover was stripped and clear coated. New components include Edelbrock RPM Ram-Air intake manifold, Victor water pump and Edelbrock fuel pump, Ford Racing valve covers and Canton oil pan, chrome thermostat housing, new thermostat, chrome dipstick and tube, chrome alternator brackets and stainless steel ARP hardware.

Motor was mechanically rebuit about 10,000 miles ago.

This is the first time I have tackled anything on my car this complicated.

Thanks to all you guys who provided comments and input during the build.

Nice job! I will be doing this work on my engine this weekend. I have been on the fence about keeping the timing cover natural finish (aluminum with clear) or painted. I have the same Victor water pump, so I think either will look good. What made you decide to keep it natural?

I just preferred the look of the natural finish timing cover. I liked the contrast with the engine color.
