Engine Mounts

This is a little odd for this forum, but I need help. I own and 1964 Falcon Sprint Convertible, Original engine was a 260 V8 with a BW T-10 4spd Tranny. I need to find out if the 64/65 260/289 engine mounts from the Mustang will fit my car. Need to know if the Convertible had different mounts. Would appriciate any good info I can get. Thanks:shrug:

mounts are the same, only difference comes in 66, when they were changed from a cast iron body mount to a 2 piece stamping. the stamping is a bit stronger, but the engine will sit about 1" higher in the chassis.(good if your car is lowered, and you run the risk of headers scraping the ground)btw, the cast mounts, and the stamped use different isolators... cast will have `1 stud through the bracket, and the stamping uses a 5/16 bolt through both the bracket and isolator.
