Hi, so I pulled my engine and tranny, it went really well!!! I posted previously about stroker kits etc.. I will put up some pics soon, anyways, so I am going to focus on the tranny first, because that will be a long job, my dad and I are going to rebuild it, I am going to pick up a short throw shifter, while I'm at in, I know I could have done this anytime but what the hell... anyways, so about tranny rebuild kits, I think I will end up spending up to 500 max on the tranny... including the shifter... I intend on going to 4.10 gears in the rear... and know I have to switch the speedo gear.. I think it is the yellow one... but I can find that info... any advice though on the specific t5 rebuild kit... anyone do a tranny rebuild themselves... I am going to rebuild it over the next month... then once its finished I will move onto the engine.. Looking at the mustangs unlimited master rebuild kits... are they any good... I just hope nothing is too badly damaged... but we'll see... any advice on the tranny would be greatly appreciated... another option is I could just sell it and pick up a new one on ebay or something... but I think the experience would be good.. we got the book from the library.. and the less I spend on this the more I will be able to spend on other things!!! Thanks guys!

That should have everything you need unless you have a damaged gear or two. Hope that new stroker motor doesn't scatter it everywhere promptly after the rebuild

lol thats funny! LOL, anyways... the t5 isn't that weak! and I was looking at that kit too! Summit has been reliable for me so far.. and they ship relatively fast! While I'm waiting I am going to borrow the tool, that compresses the valve springs to remove the valves.. I think Canadian Tire loans them out for free!
