Well car is at the dealer now they said i spun a bearing on #4. Is this a normal thing that has happend to anyone else or just me. Also I bought the car used with 63K miles on it and i take it that was the stock engine. now another quesiton that comes to mind is with the spun bearing they are putting a remanufactured engine in. now would u rather have a engine with 63K miles on it or a re manufactured engine?
Also I was considering doing some hood work. I know we would all love super chargers or NOS but would cutting out the fake intake on the hood and making it into a real intake and routing it to the TB give my engine a performance gain. I know its not pushing alot more air in but would it work. If so any pros or cons?

Yup, if you're going to spend the money for a motor, why not upgrade at the same time. I say this because once you start to do performance mods (it never ends) you never know where you'll end up. you might want to add a blower, nitrous, turbo later on.. then you'll be set up to handle the extra strain that a stock engine might not be able to. Just my opinion.
