Dart block with a boosted 331 or 347 will do that all day long.

I'm just spit-balling here, but I'm guessing you're new to this, based on how you didn't know what a Dart block was...?

Newbs
They are all talking about using the stock block from an early dodge dart, they are a direct swap and will handle 1000hp before breaking...

400-500hp is alot of power so i would look at supercharger kits or turbo. get good flowing heads and a cam that fits a boost motor. keep you CR down
I allways thought turbos were for when you wanted to make 700+hp.
...no such thing as a 347 back then!.. or a 408
hehe!400 rwhp is a fox body will surprise you
450rwhp in a 2900lb with driver fox will scare you
The 347 will run just fine with the stock EEC, many local guys are doing it no problem. "Technically" no stroker kit is a 347, its a 342 with a STD piston, 346 with a .030 piston and a 348 with a .040 piston
