We just finished doing an engine swap on my friends 2000 GT. We used an 03 cobra engine, ccrm harness, cobra fuse box harness and fuse box, and the cobra computer, we swapped every harness except the one in the dash. Everything works fine and the car runs great except the rear defrost and a/c do not work anymore. the vents work fine and air blows but no a/c. All the dash gauges and stereo work. We are stuck summer is approaching and he has no a/c.

Was the 1st time you've tried the a/c since last year after you installed the engine? If that's the case, maybe you just have a tiny leak. I'd check and see if the compressor pulley moves when you have the a/c on. If the pulley spins then stops then spins then stops, it's probably really low on refridgerant. If it's running real fast then there's some other problem. If it's stopped completely, try adding refridgerant. Hopefully the pulley will start running while you add the refridgerant.

This is just the most basic of the many problems that you could have, and it's the only thing I know how to fix.
Good luck and I'm sure someone else will know more.

He just took the car to get it charged and nothing. The shop said it is some sort of electrical issue cause there is no power after the fuse box. The fuses are good, We noticed that there was an extra wire for the a/c pressure or something like that in the fuses box in the engine compartment that the GT one didn't have thats why we swapped all the electrical in the engine compartment.
