This is my first project car and the first time I am doing a full engine/trans swap. I pulled the stock 5.0 and AOD trans out of my '91 LX. My plan is to drop in either a 306, 331 or 347 down the road with a twin turbo setup as the power adder. The transmission will be a varation of the C4. Right now I am doing body work while saving money for the new engine and I am wondering how much of the original wiring / plumbing should I keep intact under the hood. I am removing things as I go so that I can grind all the rust and paint out of the engine bay and prep it to be re-painted. I would like to save some money where I can by keeping some of the stock wiring and such but I am not sure what will be nessesary to keep and what wont be. Any advice?
