Well i totaled my 95 gt the other day and now i found a body with everything on it even transmission but it doesnt have an engine. My engine on the car i have is perfectly fine and untouched so how hard is it to do an engine swap. I the only thing that i would be afraid of is the electrical. Will i need any special tools. Besoides a cherry picker and that sort of thing. Also about the computers and stuff like that will i have to put the computer in my old car into the new car. Is there anything extreamly hard about this and what should i look out for. thanks
How mych time am i looking at spending on this project?

I guess i am asking if i would have to unbolt a lot of things to get the motor out of my car if so how many, or does the motor pretty much come out after you take out the motor mounts and ungood some wires and hoses

motor mounts, unbolt from tranny (might be a pain in the ass if you drive a stick), LOTS of electrical stuff. not a hard thing to do, ive done two. Not on mustangs though. One on a WRX and one on a Focus. Who knows, it might be easier.....yeah right! We drive stangs. looking at a good weeks worth of work, pending on how much free time you can muster.

electrical

what exactly is going to be the job with electrical is it just connecting things back up with eachother or will i hav to run totaly new wireing and stuff like that. And can anybody give me some insight on the electronics and stuff like the computers and junk will i need to get new ones or can i use the one in my old car.
