Ok guys I am planning on swaping the motor in my 97 gt. The NPI has 170,000 miles on it and I think its times for a new motor. Of cours I want to swap a PI motor in it. MY question is how well will the stock computer run the PI motor. cash is short and I don'thave enough money to get both a new motor and a tuner. If its going to run like crap i will have to put put it off for months due to time and income, but if it will run decent that will be fine. Don't get me wrong I don't want to half a$$ it, I am just short on cash and i need a new motor.

how is your bottom end? if it's fine I'll give ya my PI heads / cams etc. for like $150. My bottom went to crap so I also am droppin a new engine in, but no longer need those PI heads.
