Ok, I just installed a mechanical temp gauge on my stang 4 days ago to get real temp and not NORMAL temp. Her is what i'm getting: On highway at 110-120kph it runs about 190-200. In the city it runs 230 (fan starts) 220 (fan stops). If I stay at low speed it keeps going from 220-230 until I get higway speed then drops to 190-200.

Basically I wanted to know if that was normal or is my car running too hot?

If you havent changed out the thermostat that sounds to be about normal... Might be just a little hot at low speeds. If you're worried get a 180* t-stat to stick in your car.

My stang's fan comes on at 215 and doesn't get much over that. And that's with underdrive pullies and in the heat of summer in Florida. Maybe a little corrosion build up or your low speed fan isn't coming on. The cooling systems on our cars are getting to be a little old and haven't been kept up too well over the years.
