Hey, new on the site and have a noise question. I have an 88 with a 91 306 mill. At idle the car sounds fine, above 1200rpm I get a loud whirring noise. This is my 4th foxbody so I know to check the ps pump. Took the belt off and its still there. I bought the car with a known bad tranny 3 months ago and the noise was there when I put it on the trailer at purchase. Relplaced the tranny, clutch, pilot bearing and throwout bearing. Still there. It seems to be coming from the top of the mill almost dead center...bad roller on the lifter maybe??? Any help would be AWESOME!!! Thanks, names Randy by the way
