Figured I would let you guys know, I am very concerned with the intake spacers and alignment on the 351 with the blower combination... so i have decided not to run it, I know its a super cool setup but it is destined for the shelf on this build-up. It may be going to a good home if things go well.

The heavily modified MS2PNP i have needs a new home as well... I dont have a use for it at the moment my MS3 should be coming in the mail soon.

thinking of running the hillborn ITB style intake manifold... I really like it and have tuned a few of them.. the torque curve is very linear with a setup like that and it will flow as much as the heads will allow..
so yes the plan is N/A for now... its supposed to be a cruiser and an N/A 393 with ITB decent heads and a good cam should be more than fun in a convertible.
I need to figure out what cam i want to run, my current cam has these specs
224i 597lift
236e 593 lift
114lsa
this cam only has 2* of overlap and was meant for the blower, if it were on a 110* lsa it would be a better choice i think.

opinions please

Hillborn ITBs on a 393w would be killer ! You're just the man to tune that set-up.
My n/a 393w cruiser has plenty of power for the street, so I think you will be happy.
Just for reference my cam is a Bullet 237/243 .588 lift 110 lsa with FTI prepped RHS200 heads.

Very Good, with the Pimpxs I find it idles best 850-900 rpm.
Once you helped me tune out the low speed buck drivability has been great.

I want a slightly lower idle than that around 750ish...
I will likely have a chat with a cam builder or just let ed do the cam this time around. I may use brian again as well I loved the way the blower cam performed.
Oh the blower cam is going to be for sale as well.

Hmm... apparently the itb will idle better and lower than a common plenum intake manifold. More cam acts tamer on ITB.

I am smiling inside.

So something like this for the lower and quad mini spool turbos for the upper.

Sounds wicked, shame the blower combination is going away. Always liked the way it turned out.

I loved the setup, it is going to a good home. I would rather someone enjoy it than it just sit on a self in my shed. Maybe I should engrave a hand crafted by on the blower..

Already contacted Brian Freezy about the new combo... love that i can talk with him about my wants and concerns.

My steel building should be delivered and installed today. [well carport but let me dream] if the weather holds out for me.... looks like more liquid sunshine.

I am making good progress on the dash panel, or at lest i think i am. JR [carthief] should be dropping off a center console today that i can use to mock-up the parts. I am trying to make it look like it belongs there which is harder than it originally looked in my mind... The abs plastic I was going to use as a cover has too much texture, I am going to try giving it an acetone bath to see if it smooth's out.

I have an MS3 Pro in my possession with complete harness and relay panel... for 600.. epic buy.

I am thinking of doing an oil cooler, are they needed? benefit of one? if so will a thermostatic adapter be the best choice?

I found out some curious information, a transmission from a Nissan 370Z holds 700ftlbs of torque and can be found for less than 800 in the JY. with an adapter plate that rounds out to 1k... dont know anymore than that but it is a 6speed option.

That is the beauty of dealing with Brian vs Ed . Freezy is die hard and does this for fun. Id never let anyone else do a cam for me . Being so close and good with the holley Brian has been tuning my car now too. He came to my house and within an hour had the car driving as close to stock as you’d think you can get for whats in it. Guy is aces .

We have used them in supras and other cars with 2j swaps . Cd009 . To me shift like plain dog . Drove my buddies 800hp Supra and i was scared to speed shift it let alone power shift due to the fact that the gears are so close you wonder if you’re going to get 1st again or actually stab 3rd . I was not a fan
