Too big of a step IMO....3.25's or there abouts?Currently has a t5 with 3.73 gears. Engine is done making power at 5k. My power band is from 2.5-5k for most area under the curve.
With the 3.73 I need to shift into 4th well before the finish in the 1/8. I'm hoping the 3.08 will let me stay in 3rd.
First and second are crazy short with the torque I'm making, I also want to lower the highway rpm so in town Im not spinning 2.5k in 4th at 45mph, and 2.5k in 5th at 70mph.
What kind of graph? Dyno or gear ratio?Do you have a graph?
I used a few rpm calculators before I made the decision. 3.73 to 3.08 is about 400rpm with a 28" tire.
