Lol sorry I did find the humor in it but my dry humor doesn't convey well through text.

Yes the cam in question is a split duration cam cut on a 114

Comp tech says I make great power down low where the cam can breath the weak exhaust is choking the motor, more duration and lift on the exhaust side will wake it up. The wider LSA make the power band broader. Should pull more vacuum at idle as well.

Today I claim victory over the JY gods. I found the interior parts I was looking for! They had 4 fox convertibles on the lot.
I even managed to get my wife to come help me hunt today... it was nice.
We visited a few more yards and I even found a decent set of seats out of a 01 gt.
they need to be cleaned but are tear free! No holes or any damage.
the interior quarter panels I needed.
@Davedacarpainter what prep and spray can products do I need to paint these black? Also what kind of panel adhesive do you use to fix broken plastic?

For painting, just get the SEM adhesion promoter and interior black. Be sure to clean the hell out of them first.

Repair wise, I use 3M's 8115 Panel Bonding Adhesive. It's stronger than the plastic you'll repair it with.

A good picture of the seats.I can't believe I found these... damn near perfect. 250$ got them in the back of my truck.

I have to get the plug for the drivers seat, it's all electric. Does anyone have the diagram for this swap? They are from an 01 gt.

I should have asked for the plug when they grabbed the seats, it wasn't a u pull it.

Worse comes to worse it should just be a power and a ground. Wire it in yourself.

I need the pigtail unless I use spade connectors and push them over the pins.

Looks simple enough, 2 hots 1 ground and 1 unused wire for seat belt monitoring.

Son I started tearing out the speaker box and such to get at the quarter window motors. Everything went well, right up until the glass pulled right out of the retainer on the driver side...... how do I undo that?

I just realized that the passenger side is the same way.... it's a large portion of my quarter window slop.

looks like when I get at the motors I will need to pull it all apart. Bead blast the window retainer to clean the rust....
If this is unfixable I know a local u pull it that has plenty of windows I can steal.

There is epoxy out there that's even stronger than OEM. It looks to me like you need to re-attach that piece to whatever bracket/brace it came off of.

I don't even know what I'm looking at.

If the piece was attached to the glass, then it stands to reason that a different glass out of another salvage car would be just as bad/ or the solution to the problem depending on whether or not your car was exposed to some adverse situation that caused that mechanism to go bad.
I'm a gluin' mutherphcker when it comes to using epoxy, but I would pull back on the reins when it comes to a stressed, moving part.

I did manage to find some stuff out there if you have to use epoxy that makes JB weld look like Elmers Glue.....

It was from GE Aerospace, and I used it to glue the fuel rail bases onto the Super Victor intake manifold on the engine below

impervious to methanol,..rated to +450 degrees/-250 degrees cost like 50.00 an oz.

That stuff was so good you could put it on a piece of 22 ga galvanized sheet metal and beat the back of the metal w/a hammer and it wouldn't come off. JB would've flew off that piece the very first whack.
