I mean, it doesn't rain much. But when it does it pours... like it gets it all out at once. One vent is right above the battery and the other is right above the S/C head unit and pulley/belt.

Evening y'all. Took the back wheel off coz I went and got some used tires that hold air until I can get this thing up. Any way saw these lower control arms. Any one know anything about them, good/bad upgrade? I'm sure the bushings are shot so will have to replace those at the very least.

I also want to do the BMR Torque box reinforcement eventually and a rear disc conversion.

Looks like that upper has a sticker still on it (white and hanging down). Also appears they have Heim ends so no bushings other than the ones in the east end. I would check the Heim ends for excessive play and replace as necessary. Granger has them at pretty decent prices if you don’t have access to them any other way. They are also adjustable in length which is a plus if you know what you are doing.

I'm in Elizabeth City NC we get rain often so I'll definitely have to cover them up when I do it. I only have a one car garage that my wife parks in so will definitely have to take precautions.

Did some work this weekend. Spark plugs, new wires and smog pump delete as it wasn't even connected lol. Sold my ram hood and bought some goodies for it. Mainly door seals and stuff like that, door handles, new radiator hoses. Had to buy a new rivet gun for those larger rivets on the lock. There were platinum spark plugs in there so replaced them with motorcraft ones.

Was thinking about going the EGR delete also what do y'all think?

If you have a decent size piece of rubber hose you can work one end of it in behind the motor a little and put the other end to your ear. Find the point where the noise is loudest and that should narrow it down, if not give it away.

If you're lucky someone will chime in and know exactly what it is just from hearing it.

I could really use that smog pump.for my 93. Here in Nevada I have to pass smog test every year. I wonder how much it would cost to.ship it to me?
