my car has a rough idle when i start it up and surges between 1500 and 400 rpms and will eventually die after 10 seconds after start up. the only way it wont die is if i hold the rpms at about 1000 and it will fix itslef after a few seconds of holding the pedal at those rpms. it happens everytime i turn it on. any help.

Sounds like an IAC problem to me which is common but I would check the stickys for the idle surge checklist and go through that to start.
See the "Surging Idle Checklist” for help with all your idle/stall problems. You can guess at the problem and throw parts at it, or you can use the checklist to help you find the problem quickly and inexpensively. The checklist is right here in the Stangnet 5.0 Tech forum and you don’t have navigate to some other unknown web site. The quick and easy way to dump the codes is in there too, and all you need to do it is a paper clip! The first two posts contain all the fixes & updates. i dumped the codes and i got 10 11 15. i know 15 is because i have a chip in it. i checked codes without the chip and got 10 11. and i forgot to mention that all my sensors are new. all of them but one which is the act one i believe. new o2 iac egr maf map pcv tps ect.. and i put in a whole new wiring harness that inspected and cleaned every connector bedore installing it. all new ignition stuff too. (i replaced everything on the car because i restored it and wanted it like new). also checked for vacuum leaks. checked relays and grounds. and the volt gauge surges along with the rpms( i donk know if that normal). checked fuel pressure. it was a bit off but now smells more like fuel from the exhaust. and runs hotter?? any ideas. ima at a stand still. and yes i ran the whole check list. :/
