My vacum modulator went bad and ended up pulling some tranny fluid into the motor.Anyone ever gotte tranny fluid in there motor?How long did it take before it stoped smoking?
I know the tranny fluid will clean almost all the carbon out of the motor. From I have heard a very old school way was to put a very small amount of tranny fluid or kerosene in the motor to "clean" it out.
Mine didn't smoke a single puff after I replace the vacuum modulator. I sure was wondering where my ATF was going Before mine failed on my 2.3, I never knew there was such a part. Live and learn
