I forgot to put this in my post earlier. I almost bought a 1970 Mustang coupe 3,000 dollars with a 302 4v. I was 13 and on Holloween night there was a house with a 1970 Mustang for Sale so my dad went and talked to the owners who were the 2 originals owners it was a family car (wedding gift). So we were just about to buy it but the parents took it back since it was for sale. Should have bought it on the spot but my dad does not like old cars. He says they are like a boat keep pouring money into but I bought my bird. I finally got my first goal done owning a old car. we all make descisions we regret, I regret on not buying that 70 Mustang.

Id like to get an 05+ GT Convertible. Id just like to step up to a better quality car even though it would be slower than my current car. I Just dont want to pay the extra right now.

Sorry...I forgot that you had to be a member of Mach1registry.com to see that thread...

Here ya go...The car is pretty sweet. the guy put alot of work into this thing using a V6 vert & a wrecked Mach. He did all the work himself too, even the paint...

Speaking of Saleens, my dream Mustang(s) are seriously a 1995 Saleen SC-351, and a 1999 Saleen SC-351.

I could not step foot in another Mustang ever and be 110% content with EITHER one of those vehicles.

Being back in this thread... there was one car that I looked at that I wish I had bought aside from my GT. It was a Rio Red 1995 GT, 84k on the clock, 5 speed and every option you could get from Ford. It was literally a few hundred bucks out of my price range, and being that I was 15 at the time, I didn't have the option of magically coming up with that extra money. I REALLY miss that car even to this day... but hey, what can you do? My car has its issues, but it's still mine, paid for the day I bought it, and I could tear it down and put it back together in my sleep by now.

Thread was almost 1.5 years old!!!

But since we are talking about it again...

I would love to have a 2001 DHG Bullitt or a 2008 DHG Bullitt.

I have trouble sticking with the same car though, however my current 2003 GT I have had for 18 months which is a personal best for me. been able to upgrade something every 3 months or so which has helped keep me from getting board with it.

I wish I had an 2005-2009 Z06 for a daily driver. 26-29mpg highway, and plenty of power.

1993 teal mustang cobra, built motor, blower, big boost. 500-600rwhp car for the weekends. Stock with the back wheels widened. Still the best looking mustang IMO

Absolutely!

I's take an 05+ GT, 03/04 Cobra/Mach 1, or a GT500 over my GT. I love my little 2V, but in this day and age, 260HP just doesnt cut it.

However, Im a poor full-time college student so Im going to be with my lowly GT for a while.

I sometimes wish I had a different car except when I am driving it. Sometimes I think I should have held out for a better car.

I didn't spend that much to begin with and I can do anything I want to it since it's a toy and not a DD.

I would have a 95 cobra, a 98 cobra, an 03 cobra, a mach1, a Bullitt, some Shelbys...

Ask yourself a few questions to find out if you love your car or if your just bummed about not being able to mod it like you want. First ask yourself what is the goal you are trying to achieve with your current mustang? If you had the funds to reach that goal, would you still be lusting over other mustangs? In most cases keeping the car you have would be cheaper than buying a new and/or specialty mustang. Just remember that the grass is always greener on the other side.

Knowing what I know now I have at least bought a 99-04 gt but at the time this was what I could afford. Lately i've been having 4valve fever so 96-98 cobra or 03-04 mach or termi.
