Yipes!! What the heck did you do to that thing to inable it to run those times?
Ported non-pi heads, 75 shot, cams and gears, slicks? Very impressive!!
My posted 1/4 miles are from running at the local track here [3280ft], the corrected times are much more impressive[ but 60 ft times are in the 2.2's, not impressive :( ] but I like to just post the actual times, as that's what's on my time slips, but even corrected, I'm still not in the 13.3's, although my mph is pretty good.

My times as well are with a DA of 3000' or worse. My 60' time isnt bad for an automatic with a 2.15. My corrected run is a 13.36@106. Unfortunately the track I goto is only open during the summer months for test & tune nights. As soon as we get nice cool weather come in, they shut it down :damnit:

Hey Joel, I was just checking out your info on your run, where in Ohio do you run at? I would be happy to have a DA of 1244', but dang -1244' is unheard of.

Charles, sorry I semi-ripped off your thread. As everyone else said, car feels the same to 3,000 then takes off like a rocket. Do yourself a favor and put some steeper gears in after the swap. They'll get you in the sweet spot much sooner. I drove mine for 6 months on the stock tune with no problems. I would definitely get it dyno-tuned if you want to go that route!

Charles...Dyno'd today.

PI Intake with adapter plates on NPI heads.

I hit a peak of 213.6 HP at about 4900-5000 RPM and it began to die slightly after 5 grand. By comparison there were two other NPI cars there, one with O/R h which I figure he is close to me in mods and he had 188 on the dyno. His HP peaked then died more steeply than mine so I'm guessing my swap is what helped. The other car was stock and had a 177. Overall I'm satisfied with my intake only swap.

My lack of results at the track have been determined to be a problem between the steering wheel and the seat. :(
